- Ekki wood (Durability class 1)
Ekki is a highly dense and exceptionally strong tropical hardwood used for demanding projects with heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. Known for its impressive rigidity and superior stability, Ekki mats withstand extreme pressures and resist movement to ensure they always stay in place. They’re also highly resistant to weathering and decay, have a class 1 durability rating and will last up to 50 years with under normal conditions.
- Oak bog mats (Durability class 2)
European Oak mats are moderately dense and combine strength and ease of handling for a good all-round solution. They’re ideal for medium to heavy-duty projects, performing well under normal conditions but have slightly less resistance to sliding and pressure compared to tropical hardwoods. With a durability class 2 rating, they have a lifespan ranging from 15 to 25 years when maintained properly.
- Beech bog mats (Durability class 5)
Beech mats offer moderate density, good strength and slightly better flexibility compared to Oak. Made with medium-duty applications in mind, they’re particularly suited for shorter-term projects or indoor usage. Beech is less resistant to decay and has a class 5 durability rating, which is significantly lower compared to Oak and Ekki – this makes them ideal for temporary or short-duration installations.
