Wembley Stadium 2004-2007

Our client was the main crane contractor on the Wembley site, with a 22 month programme of works and an urgent requirement for several hundred heavy duty mats.

Timbermat at that time was the only mat supplier in the UK who carried the heavy duty mats that the site engineers had specified.

Having secured the contract we continually supplied mats to the site for nearly three years.

Having supplied our heavy duty mat system for the cranes and heavy plant on site. We also supplied our lightweight pedestrian panels Reco-Trac for site staff and visitors to move around the project safely.

This Reco-Trac system can be supplied in different colours to show safe routes for site staff and visitors, this coloured system has proved a great success and has increased safety on all sites we have worked on.
